The Guide App

The Guide App is a user-friendly mobile application that allows local businesses and community centers to connect with their community members. Users are able to follow pages of their favorite businesses to keep up-to-date on new posts (promotions, events, and updates)!

Users are also able to apply to become business admins. The app provides a direct line of communication from community centers to their members and enhances community engagement by supporting local businesses. To give a bit of context, the Guide App was first created by Mohammed Aldura, Wasim Algamal, Ahmad Fadel, and Karim Sharif for their client, Adel Mozip and his company SpanHead LLC [https://spanhead.tech/]. The project was built from scratch. The technologies used and the design of the app were discussed extensively, and much work has been put into it over the course of two semesters (Senior Design I & II).
